Is there a Quidditch team on here? Do you have a specific way to play the game? er- this is only a suggestion. This was a proceedure used at my board, Dissendium:
"Ok, I, the refferee, will start out the game. I will relase all the balls. At that, whoever posts first (Chaser) will catch the ball. Seekers, be fair. DO NOT all of a sudden catch the Snitch. Wait for the moment. Overall, this will all depend on how active your teams are. For example: if none of your Chasers are active, and the other team's Chasers are, they have the privelage to be posting as many times as they want. Let me make it simple... The more active you are, the more points you can get.
Another rule. Chasers, do not score until you have made at least three posts concerning the passing, catching, and throwing. You're count doesn't stop if the ball gets stolen.
Keepers. To stop a ball from entering, this will depend if you are active at the time. If a chaser has just scored, then you have a chance to stop it. But, if a chaser scored, then the post following that tells of another chaser, probably taking the ball, or the seeker seeing the snitch, or a beater hitting a bludger, then the quaffle does officially go through the hoops.
And the beaters. You may protect your team at any time (DO NOT DOUBLE POST). You have an advantage of keeping the Keepers from blocking the ball. And yes, you are allowed to hit other players with the bludgers, but NOT TOO OFTEN. Yes, it would seem very immature, and pointless. If i see too many injuries, I will delete the posts, recovering the player.
Hopefully this is all I need to explain. If you have any questions, feel free to ask me.
